What is your philosophy / mission?

Lisa Ratner founded Integrated Media Boutique because she recognized that small businesses, non-profits, and individuals need support navigating an ever-changing media landscape. A successful marketing strategy integrates a media approach which includes web, photos, videos, text, and interactivity.

What is the process?

My goal is to fully convey your message in an aesthetic, organized, and user-friendly manner to optimize your business's marketing strategy.

We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, yet we work with clients from anywhere the Internet reaches.

Yes, all our websites are created with search engines in mind, and the website design is compliant with search engine guidelines. It is a good idea to have your website re-evaluated over time, since search engines do alter their rules and algorithms. You will want to be certain that your website is kept up to date, complies with new criteria, etc.

Will my website appear the same to all visitors?

Your website's appearance will alter depending on the browser, screen resolution setting, and individual computer and toolbar settings of your visitors. We design sites with that in mind, previewing them in several browser types and with multiple resolution settings before publishing. Because technology alters, all websites may eventually need reevaluation. We test the website through Adobe Browser Lab to see how it looks under different conditions.

Can you provide all our web design and hosting services?

Yes. We are your one-stop company for providing all web services. We can register your domain name, purchase hosting, and design your website. We set you up with a account, which is an economical approach since you pay per bandwidth, versus paying a flat fee. When funds drop below the amount you pre-determine, will send you a reminder and you can update at will.

Are you going to make me tweet and get a facebook account?

It depends. Will Twitter, Facebook, and other social media avenues be an effective way to reach your clientele? Do you you have frequent messages and updates you'd like to communicate? If yes, do you want a free and easy method for doing so?

At first look, many companies aren't sure how to best employ social media tools. As we analyze your media marketing strategy, ideas come forth on how your company might benefit from them.

How does the Photography Shoot work?

Before we even touch a camera, we'll work together to plan the photo shoot (setting, location, style, etc.) On the day of our session, we'll get to know you before we start shooting. We like to start with a writing exercise to get you comfortable with personal expression. Happy people = great pictures, so my photo sessions are always relaxed and fun.

Afterwards, I'll need some time to edit the photos. You will receive high resolution digital copies, as well as web-sized ones for easy online distribution.
